چکیده

With the advent of Industry 4.0, trend its implementation in current factories has increased tremendously. Using autonomous mobile robots that are capable navigating and handling material a warehouse is one important pillars to convert inventory control more automated smart processes be aligned with 4.0 needs. Navigating robot’s indoor positioning addition finding materials examples location-based services (LBS), some major aspects warehouses should considered. Global satellites (GPS) accurate reliable for outdoor navigation while they not suitable use. Indoor systems (IPS) have been proposed order overcome this shortcoming extend valuable service positioning. This paper proposes simple, cost effective easily configurable system help an optical path following, unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) robot augmented by image processing computer vision deep machine learning algorithms. The prototype as example area, tracking following predefined traced covers all zones warehouse, through usage infrared reflective sensors can detect black lines on bright ground. As metionded before, general mechanism enhanced artificial intelligence (AI) tasks able select required zone destination, locate requested within zone. adopted AI used object recognition algorithms selection quick response (QR) detection.

A Cost-effective Indoor Vibrotactile Navigation System for the Blind

This paper describes the development of an indoor vibrotactile navigation system for the visually impaired people. We aimed at realizing a wearable, low-cost, and effective system able to help blind users in unknown indoor environments that they might visit occasionally, such as hospitals, airports, museums, etc. The designed system implements a Bluetooth (BT) localization service, and provides...

Inertial Indoor Navigation System

This paper represents a first step in developing an indoor navigation system based only on Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. The major advantage of the proposed inertial navigation system consists on the fact that it does not require any complex infrastructure to be able to operate. For determining the distance it uses three axis accelerometer sensors,...

The iNAV Indoor Navigation System

COMPASS is a location framework where location sources are realized as plugins that contribute probability density functions to the overall localization result. In addition, COMPASS uses a decentralized location-based service discovery based on Peer-2-Peer distributed hashtables to retrieve semantical data on the determined position. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of COMPASS as a locali...
